How do I return an item?

Refunds and Exchanges

Most of our items are custom made at the time the customer places their order. Designs By Tessian Leak has a No refund and No exchange policy on all custom orders. (Custom orders are orders that have to be sewn/tailored and are not advertised as ready to ship in the description box of the listing.) If you have purchased a ready to ship item and are not completely satisfied please call or email for a return authorization code and we will issue a refund. Items must be returned in new condition with all tags attached within 5 business days. Items that are in stock will say ready to ship in the description box.

*** No Items will be accepted for return without prior approval and a return authorization code. ***This policy applies only to Items that qualify for exchange or Refund which are in stock items (Ready to Ship Items) *** Ready to ship Items will say Ready to Ship in the description box of the item.

Please note that we are not responsible for the customer submitting inaccurate measurements and no refund/exchange will be given. Please have your measurements taken by a professional tailor or seamstress. We can only cancel an order if the request is made within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours supplies have been ordered and work has begun to complete the order. We cannot cancel the order after the 24 hour window.

*Please note: if you need a garment by a certain date for a function please email before placing your order to make sure we can meet your deadline.**** All rush orders will incur a $40.00 rush order fee**** Robes will incur a $50.00 rush order fee*** Overnight shipping fees are not included in the express service fee. If you need your order shipped overnight service, please let us know when placing your order. You will be quoted at that time. Regular service turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. You must purchase express service in order to meet your function date or place your order well in advance prior to your function date. We do not agree to meet function dates without the purchase of express service.

It takes time to produce quality garments. We work as quickly as possible to get all orders shipped. Things can sometimes happen that may delay your order such as fabric backorder or a higher volume of incoming orders. In this event we do our best to communicate with each customer and fill the order as quickly as possible.

***If we are no longer able to get the fabric you selected, you will be given the opportunity to receive a Refund/Exchange or make another fabric selection. (This policy does not apply to fabric back order) Upon making another fabric selection the 24hr cancelation policy will apply. After 24hours has passed the No Refund/No Exchange policy will apply***
